Great property, fantastic location. Ample space. Nice view of the vineyards. In the house everything necessary is provided. 2 great outdoor dining areas although the BBQ / Grill area could do with improvement. Communication with the property managers, Steve & Jill was outstanding. The property could be slightly better restored at one point or another. 2 rooms are nice. A room in the house could be newly renovated. Studio is newly renovated, but has no possibilities to ventilate e.g. open windows.

Mooi huis op een prachtige locatie. Alle comfort voor een familievakantie
Mooie omgeving met historische steden in de nabijheid. Rondtoeren midden de wijnvelden brengt u wel tot rust. Een aanrader.

A great week in Burgundy.
This is a fantastic house in a beautiful village/town.The rooms are spacious and with six adults we had room to spread out and relax. The local area has many good wines and food specialities which were part of the enjoyment . We took bikes and cycled on the well signed greenways both north and south of Meursault.

A wonderful base for exploring the Cote de Beaune
Our group of six loved staying at Maison Mazeray -- it is a lovely, quirky historic house with very comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. We started and ended our days of cycling with excellent meals in the inner courtyard or beside the pool and we all thought Meursault was a perfect base for a holiday.

It could not have been better
This is the perfect house for a large group if you want to cook in, eat out, bike and drink wine. We had a 3 generation 7 person group that used this as a base for all of the above and it could not have been better. The house is rustic in some ways which gives it a lot of its charm but was very comfortable. They have done a very good job of equipping the house with everything you need to cook in and we had some great meals with stuff that we walked to town (just a few blocks away) and bought. We also had some incredible meals out. The outdoor barbecue area and eating area were perfect and it was the high point of my trip when my 4 year old grandson would ask, "Can we make a fire tonight" every night. The hosts were there to greet us and show us how everything worked and made it clear that if we had any questions they were only a call away. They also had some excellent recommendations on where to eat out. Finally the big enclosed courtyard makes a great place to let kids run free and to store bikes which we rode through the countryside just about every day.

Nous avons passé une semaine formidable, la maison est authentique et belle, beaucoup de petites intentions vous attendent dans la maison et le ménage est fait avec soin.
Cette vue sur les vignes depuis la piscine est magnifique.

Beautiful house in the heart of Meursault
We make an annual 'pilgrimage' to Burgundy to enjoy great food, chill out and enjoy the best wine in the world. Maison Mazeray is a charming and beautiful house in the village of Meursault. The pool is fabulous 'extra' as is the amazing barbecue area and it is nice to have a decent amount of private outside space. Location wise you will struggle to find better; Puligny Montrachet and Chassagne Montrachet are a few Kms away (we walked to lunch at Le Montrachet as the weather was so fabulous), with Beaune a few Kms in the other direction.
The food in Burgundy is stunning. We would thoroughly recommend Le Montrachet (not 'cheap' but worth every penny/cent), Le Aupres du Clocher in Pommard (service is outstanding, as is the food), Le Terrior in Santernay and Le Millesime in Chambolle Musigny - all speak great English.
What would I change? A better pair of scissors in the kitchen (you actually have to see them for this to make sense) and I prefer drip filtered coffee (although there is a cafetiere and a 'Nespresso' machine).
Having stayed in a number of places in Burgundy, Maison Mazeray is by far our favourite - a truly lovely house in a fantastic location.

Great property managers the house worked very well for our family.
We enjoyed the pool

Great for multiple families wanting a break from chain hotels and tight B&Bs. The caretaker lives in the town and answered all our questions. Off street parking. Bring clothes hangers if you have more than five days clothes and extra sharp knives if you plan to cut a lot to cook. But who wants to cook when there are so many fine dining options in close proximity. Beautiful 'farmhouse' style accommodations.

Owner - more hangers now installed, and knives sharpened!
