The Mews, Puligny-Montrachet. Comfort, charm, cheerful, restored Barn.
If a high level of comfort, peace and quiet, and passing your days at a gentle pace are top of your holiday list, then The Mews will be a very good fit for you.
The Mews has been beautifully converted from a tumbled down barn into a charming cottage and furnished to a very high standard. Exposed beams, re-pointed stone walls and stone floors all merge seamlessly to create a serene, comfortable living environment.
The Mews adjoins another rental property Le Chevalier, both owned by Paul and Juliet, but is set back from the road and is a completely separate property with its own entrance and private courtyard.
Puligny-Montachet is a charming wine village, with a neighbourhood boulangerie for your morning croissants, l’Epicerie for daily groceries, a cool wine bar for aperitifs, (say Bonjour to Julien) the popular village café, a choice of bistros, and Le Montrachet, an excellent, one star Michelin restaurant. This full range of true Burgundian, gastronomic experiences is just a short walk away.

Just a lovely simple well appointed little abode! Nicely decorated and well equipped, although there are so many amazing places to eat in Puligny Montrachet that you may not need the kitchen!!!!
The location is ideal, the village is beautiful but amazingly quite (may be because it is October). There is a lovely patisserie just across the square and numerous great restaurants and bars (all in walking distance). You can take some really beautiful walks/runs straight from the village.
Great place the only thing it is lacking is outside space but there are beautiful places to enjoy the outdoors in the village and there is so much to do in the area that you won't need it! I can't fault it!

This barn is a pefectly renovated little house, with everything you need. A fully equipped kitchen, everything is tastefully furnished . From the beginning we felt like home in this quite village. The area is pefect for bicycle rides away from the motorways with cars.
We also appreciated very much , that tea, coffe, milk and also a bottle of sparkling wine was offered by the owners. We will come back, whenever we are in the area.

I had meant to email before now to say how much we enjoyed staying at the property in Puligny Montrachet. The house was really well equipped (especially with a Nespresso machine!) and it was really comfortable. We also loved the village and the fact that we could eat locally at some very nice restaurants!! I suspect we shall return!
