The recently completed renovation project has seen a disused, former winemakers home transformed into a spacious, extremely comfortable, 3 bedroom family home.
Many of the original 18th century features, such as exposed oak beams, flag stone floors, stone walls and fireplaces have been carefully preserved or restored. These have been matched with more modern materials to create contemporary comfort while retaining a traditional French ambiance.
In addition, two major features are the south facing garden with petanque pitch, and the roof top terrace overlooking some of Meursault’s celebrated vineyards.
La Jolie Jumelle-nord is conveniently located. After a short walk to the central Meursault village square you will find an excellent choice of cafes, restaurants, boulangeries, (naturally!) an outstanding butcher, a supermarket, an epicerie, and of course many opportunities for wine tastings.
La Jolie Jumelle-nord is ideal for three couples travelling together, or for family holidays. Children are most welcome and will enjoy the large grassed playing area.
The owners, James and Kerry from Melbourne, also own the neighbouring 3 bedroom/3 bathroom property, La Jolie Jumelle-sud, which is also available for holiday rentals. Together, the two homes can accommodate up to 12 people.

Bedroom # 1 totally incorporates the second floor, with a king sized bed and spacious en-suite bathroom, with shower, wash basins and WC. The adjoining terrace provides comfortable seating and stunning views over some of Meursault’s vineyards
Bedroom # 2 on the first floor consists of a king sized bed and antique armoires. The bed can also be configured to twin beds. Opposite, on the same level is a very spacious bathroom, with separate bateau bath, shower, two wash basins and WC
Bedroom #3 is on the ground floor with queen sized bed. A half bath is close by
Hair dryers are supplied
Washer, dryer and ironing facilities are located on the ground floor

Notes: Rates are for up to 6 persons. Minimum 5 night stay, A non-refundable 25% deposit is required to secure a booking. The balance of the payment is due 30 days before arrival. Preferred Payment method is by credit card. Otherwise PayPal, or by Telegraphic Transfer to our French bank account. Changeover day is flexible. We appreciate an arrival time from 4pm, and a departure time by 10am is required please.
